Oil Downs
Rick Green on Drag Race Central said Herbert got a freebie because he had a new crew chief and new crew. Why? When Paul Romine was having a problem NHRA said the oil down went with the driver. This way Force, Schumacher, Kalitta, or any one else with a multi car team can just rotate their crews and never have to be worried about losing cash or points. This penalizes teams that stay together. The good old boy system is still working. Is this in the rule book no one gets to see, the one where the ink is never dry?

It was probably more the fact that 4 days before a race he was suddenly without a crew chief. Sorta like the Eddie Hill rule, only without wrecking.
