I searched through all those pictures and couldn't find my pickup anywhere.
I had a heads up race against a 57 chevy wagon from Minnesota that was almost the same color as my truck. People said it looked good as a side by side race.

What a great event, The crowd on Saturday was amazing!

You could hardley get into our booth, needless to say it will be bigger at the reunion.

If I remember correctly I went to MY first in 1965! If you enjoyed the whole scene may I suggest you return to 'The Patch' Oct 12-14 of this year. That will be CHRR XVI and I can truthfully say I've been to ALL of those so far. The whole character of the California Hot Rod Reunion is just a bit different than the March Meet in that it's more about the people and the cars than the racing it's self. Don't get me wrong. There is PLENTY of racing it's just that I see people there every year that I've not seen or talked to since I was a KID myself. Incredible people and fun to boot. Soon as I'm done typing I'm going to make my hotel reservations!
