Re: TV Update-
Sorry, I can't believe watching other people fish is interesting TV. People sleep all night. Do you want to watch eight hours of dozing?
All I saw of it was some guy blubbering about "not cheating, just a simple, human mistake." How do you cheat at fishing?
By the bye, the beer that sponsors the lesser league taxi races is: Busch.
Not Bush.
Not Bucsh.
Now if we are ever delayed by a spelling bee . . . .
Cheers,
Ed

I don't find fishing as boring as cars going round in circles for 500 miles when a big decision for a crew chief is can they hold off a tire change long enough for a crash to happen and then pit. But I must be an exception, because people love NASCAR.
In the words of Sly Stone, "different strokes for different folks."

Or hold out for the mysterious phantom "debris on the race track" yellow that seems to appear at the most curious times. Even dyed in the wool Nascar fans are beginning to get p!ssed about those.

Re: TV Update-
The thing that I am amazed about those big fishing tournaments arethe crowds at the weigh-ins. The fishing is over, they drive their trucks and boats into the Birmingham Civic Center and there is 10,000 people in there enthusiastically hootin' and hollerin' to watch them weigh fish!!! The winner got 500K for 3 days fishing (paid 5 figures all the way down to 50th place)!!! Yes folks, that's more than any of the Powerade Champs will earn for an entire year of drag racing. Those fishing guys don't have near the expense that the drag racers do either. Next to pro golfers, I would say those pro fisherman have it pretty good.
