Storm damage at Gateway International

I found this one on ls1gto.com. Strange that NHRA.com didn't have a story on this? Bret Kepner took some scary pics to be sure.

They got hit again on Friday. What the Wednesday storm missed the Friday storm took care of.

Unbelievable, and then to get hit again on Friday. Hopefully they can get things cleaned up soon, and won't get hit like that again for a long, long time.

It will be interesting to see if they can clean up and make repairs before the Nascar Busch race there next weekend.

And there's a Division 3 race the first weekend in August - moved there from Edgewater this year.

That's nasty looking, don't think I'd want to be there. I was at Bristol one year and a strike of lighting hit on one of the mountains. Man, I have never seen those grandstands clear out so fast. Folks were moving and grooving to the parking lot.
