Trevor Lowes original '57 and John Scialpi's '56 are beautiful pro mods. I always thought that Johnny Rocca's "Iron Horse" was neat too.

Re: Fav Drag cars

I think we have pretty much the same taste in cars.

I'd add:

Tony Nancy's 22Jr
Most any of the Ash & Worden PS cars
Any candy apple gasser from the 60s - you had to be there...
And another vote for the Hot Tuna TF car - almost too pretty to race

Ace Manzo's TRW TAFCs were beautiful as well.

All of Grumpy's toys.
The late Reid Whisnant's cars.
The Motown Missle
The last Reher-Morrison-Shepherd Camaro.

Oh yeah, Lewis Worden's Pro Stockers....beautiful! Thanks for reminding me Dan! That also jarred my memory about Mark Pawuk's maroon Cutlass with the Sonny's engine...probably the first car that got me to like the Cutlass body style in P/S. And Gordie Rivera's Beretta when he had the "black arrow" on the hood scoop.
I'll also throw in the Chapparone brother's Jerry Haas comp cars. And who can forget when Haas and Phelps brought out that beautiful 63 Vette A/A!

I'm getting too carried away now. I'll stop.

Re: Fav Drag cars

I think I'm right on this one. Anyone remember Joe Folgore's Pro Stocker that was red on one side and white on the other with stripes coming up from each side to give kind of a candy cane effect on the hood, top and trunk? I saw that car run at the Mile Highs in Denver many years ago and thought it was such a cool paint idea. I think it was Joe Folgore. Anybody remember the car and was Joe the driver? Help out an old man here with a fading memory!

The AA/GS 33 Willys run by K.S. Pittman out of S&S speed shop, Falls church VA. Absolutely one of the finest of the breed.
All Big Johns cars.
For sure Wild Willie in the winged express, The original car that got totaled, Bad to the bone!!!!
Way to many top fuel and funny cars to pick only one.
All my favorite top fuel cars were built in the 60s.
All my favorite fuel coupes were built in the 60s and 70s.

Re: Fav Drag cars

The black Snake II car ran at the last race at Lions and lost in the final to McEwen, and then the next race before it was painted. there was not enough time to paint the car before the lions event.

Favorite Cars, Man that is hard.

Snake Army Monza
Mongoo$e Navy Duster (I know but gotta love the louvers)
Beebe & Mulligan
Blue Max Mustang
65 Sox and Martin F/C
Orange Ivo Full Body Front Engine Dragster (his last FE)

and just about any other pre 85 Funny Car there is

Have fun,
Fred
