back in the day top fuel racer Marvin Graham was a TV repairman. I can remember in the very early sixties they would show up at your house (we had a neighborhood guy we knew) with a leather bag tool kit just like a doctor with a collection of tools and tons of vacuum tubes.

around the same time Doug Kerhulas drove a top fuel car for Earl Newman.

Correction.. that should be Denver Shutz the worlds fastest raisin farmer driving his Raisin Express.

the story of how jungle jim met jungle pam is quite funny . According to her , when she was 18 and still in high school she was walking down the street when suddenly a yellow corvette came hooning round the corner and stopped and a guy hoped out and introduced himself and jim liberman and then within a few minutes of talking to him she was with him to a match race and became jungle pam . I can't remember where I read that I think it was her site .
