Thanks, but I`m not sure I`d describe that as "amusing" .

amusing... no
almost looked like an NHRA TV add, and that's not why we go to the races Now, if we could get a video with every record run, say from 2000 on, that would be a great video....

I saw that one on youtube.com a few days ago. I'm not sure if amusing is the right choice of words, but it is one of the better compilations I've seen...some great back ground music too.
There are couple rare scenes in that video. 1) Pat Dakin's crash at Topeka on Monday after a Sunday rainout. The race was only shown once and it had some 2 am time slot from ESPN, so not very many people have seen that one. 2)The camera following the tire that flew off Dixon's car at Memphis...talk about making your a$$hole pucker. 3)The starting line ground shot behind Tony's car at Memphis give a good view of how fast the cars move away from us and the difficultly we have in seeing if something happens.

I thought Capps boomer was as bad as it got, but there was one in there that rivaled it. |

The thing I remember most about the Capps boomer was he thought the clutch had come out of the can and cut his legs off. Everyone on the crew was extraordinarily panicked because of the way Ron was screaming on the radio. Luckily, it was just debris and he only suffered bumps and bruises.

I think Worsham's was worse then both of those...just watchin his head bounce around in the roll cage is enough to make you squirm and make you wonder how he didnt break his neck...Thank God for the HANS nowadays!

Isn't that the truth? How that didn't kill anybody is beyond me!! Or if that would have landed in the stands..unreal.

The 2 that really are wild are the Eddie Hill blowover where out of nowhere his rear slick lands in front of the dragster in the other lane and Larry dixon in Memphis where the camera follows the tire as it travels into the parking lot/pits.!!! Its wild how the tires are still traveling with such momentum well AFTER the chassis has come to a stop

Very cool video, thanks for sharing. It most certainly shows how dangerous drag racing can be.
