Got to wonder how low can they go? Makes you wonder if the PSB were here, would we see our first 200MPH run.

How about Stanfield in the #2 spot, not bad for an old SuperStock guy doing it all on his own (for the most part)

Chad, your right that is a great job on Stanfield team, just think what they could do if they had the sponsorship dollars that Anderson/Line have.

Maybe run a 6.40! Ok, maybe not that fast, but there must be a lot of pro stock teams out there hoping that someone like Bill Gates doesn't get to know Greg Stanfield.

After last night, who would have thought that the three quickest runs in history would not include Greg Anderson? Or that the top three would be Line, Stanfield and Koretsky? Sure was fun to watch!!!

SOMEONE needs to step up and give him a bankroll to be at least on par with KB. I would venture to say his budget is less than 50% of the KB budget (per car, if R and D were split 50/50). Give him some money and he would without a doubt be the fastest in the class. One thing about us stock and SS guys, we have to find hp in other ways, besides just throwing money at it. Same situation as pro stock, you can't BUY hp, although it is expensive you have to FIND it.

Great post! And for what it's worth, Jason Line is a stock guy - '93 Stock Champ in his E/SA '72 Buick.

Definately was a pretty sweet pass, glad I got to see it. Also I was wondering, is it normal for most of the fans to only get excited when the nitro cars run?? Cause I jumped up in excitement when I saw this and people around me looked at me like I was crazy. It was my first powerade race, so wasn't sure if it is normal, lol.

Kevin, I would have been jumping right there with you, if I could have made it back for the rain date. To me anytime a car runs a record run, no matter what class, it's time for a celebration.

Junkies like those of us here would have been jumping up and down with you for the pro stock hits as well as the TAD, TAFC and A/D hits. However, I've been amazed at what I've heard from casual fans in the stands that are only there for the fuelers, explosions and crashes. So I guess its just the luck of the draw as to who's around you and how addicted they are to drag racing.
