Rob Moore's web site (nitrodriveline.com)

I am curious about Rob Moore's stuff and tried his website
(nitrodriveline.com). I could not navigate the page at all
because mouse overs weren't working correctly. Does
anyone else have this problem?

I am using Firefox 3.6 on a Mac. Had the same problem
with Safari.

Thanks...

That site never works. I wish it did because I would love to see what he makes my self just out of curiosity.

He makes one of the best reversers there has ever been.

Yeah, that is what I want to look up. I am wondering if it is straight up
forward/reverse transmission of it it has a neutral, too. I've heard that
some do not have neutral...

Whatever happened to Lenco for nitro cars? Back in the day they made two
speed tranmissions with reverser. This was obviously before the progressive
lock up clutches.

He does his own work, so most of the time you'll have to leave a message.

As power increased through the years, transmissions became redundant, and today they'd be a liability. A modern fuel car has more than enough power to break the tires loose at any point on the track using 1-1 direct drive. No need for another component that adds weight, complexity, expense, might break at an inopportune time and wouldn't increase performance anyway.

And you're correct about today's clutches. When everything goes right, they do a fine job of applying power at the right time.

Re: Rob Moore's web site (nitrodriveline.com)

Lenco makes high gear only reversers for nitro use, we had one on our AA/FA, now we're switching the car over to N/FC.
