It's being reported on Dragster.com.au that David Baca's entire operation has been purchased by Australian team owner Santo Rapisarda.

I thought he was running at least 3/4 of the races. Not sure why he just quit,out of money? Did Mach 1 not pay??? Was really hoping to see JR at Indy. One of the best!

Too bad... I was really hoping to see a Henkleman - Poynter match up during the Vegas and Pomona events. Now we'll never know who's best at making old cars and parts fly.

maybe thats because the crank spins the other direction down there

Ah you guys crack me up. Did you know that we actually have to run the cars facing backwards due to the crankshaft spinning in the opposite direction....

Sounds like you need to have a special ring and pinion gear made for the counter rotating crank! ;-)
