Gilby to Skip Dallas

Heard from good old Surfer Joe's mouth that they will run the rained out Cayuga IHRA race in place of Dallas. Makes sense, Bob is sitting comfortably in 3rd place in IHRA points, a mere 29 out of first with three races to go. I believe he got hit with two black flag penalties over the weekend, so he could have been in first.

Good luck Gilby! We'll be pullin' for ya!!

Yeah, ditto on the good luck Gilby. A somewhat courageous decision, but probably the right one. Let's see, a close 3rd in IHRA points, could easily win in Toronto and move closer to Creasy, or go to Dallas with little chance to win or move up in points. Sponsor commitments notwithstanding, I'm sure he'd rather be a "big fish" in IHRA than just another mackerel in NHRA.

That's a no brainer. Right now he's in third, just 29 points out of first.
He could win the championship.
$200,000! (I think) (same as T/F?)
Good luck Gilby and team!
