See y'all in Richmond!

Re: I'm so proud of y'all! No ESPN2 complaints!
ok - i'll complain.....or maybe nit-pick.
when breaking for commercial - do not show burnout,
break, then back and cars are staged.
actually, i have seen 'special interest' stories shuved between the burnout
and the race before too.
burnout and race are one entity - do not split

Re: I'm so proud of y'all! No ESPN2 complaints!
Why complain?
I watch a lot of sports, and LIVE events running long are just part of the deal. I would be P!SSED if I watched a whole game only for it to cut away on the hour so I miss the ending.
Like Justin said, set the DVR to run long, and all is well with the world. Plus, there is the added bonus of fast forwarding thru all of the commercials, redundant-repetitive interviews and as much of PPs inane chatter as possible.
With that being said, the WNBA is a sham of a league that ESPN/ABC/Disney are being forced to foot the bill for by the league's owners, the NBA. You see, the NBA forces their TV partners to PAY to air WNBA games, or they don't get the NBA TV contract. If the NBA had to pay the freight for that albatross, the WNBA would have been gone years ago. NONE of the franchises are profitable as stand-alone entities.

Mike and Jim, give me a break. There have been many athletes from other countries that have come to the United States for the sole reason of being on the Olympic team. I haven't heard anyone *****in' about that.
Jim Lefebvre managed the China baseball team and is a major player in setting up their lower programs....I didn't hear anyone crying about that either.
