Thanks Joe. That is Valerie Thompson. She was running in P/S bike and was super nice. Her handout siad she was a 2x World Land-Speed record holder at the salt flats. I Hope she does well.

Joe, she ran at Indy. If I recall correctly, we all walked past her pit area when we walked out to Chris Cook's campsite on Saturday night (when we got separated from you and John).

Joe - 161.736 last year - doesn't say which class. There are a LOT of classes at Bonneville. Google Valerie Thompson Racing - several different sites.

Thanks for the comments on the pics. The event was great and as a bonus I finally got to meet Marc Gewertz. I have been inspired by his photos for years in many different publications and looked forward to meeting him. Turns out that not only is he an ace with the camera but a true nice guy as well.
