Re: The most beautiful woman in the world screaming in frustration
OK...I knew this was going to happen when I saw her reaction. You know what? Intense personalities exist in both sexes. Everyone handles things that are so very important to them in different ways. Geeze.....she's freakin' human. It's not because she's female. It's her personality and she was just being herself. Granted, maybe I wouldn't react the same way because I am a different personality, but I'd rather a true, genuine reaction than one that's staged for the tv cameras!

High emotions???, I call it lack of self control. Shes a multi- time world champ, learn to handle adversity already.
How many times have we been down this road with her? You wont see Karen S. or Melanie wailing and carrying on like that.
And yeah Dave I`ve made many passes down a 1/4 mile in the last 20 years , so I meet the requirement to call it as I see it (you call it bashing).

I guess if Steve J. was having a fit it would have been OK.
I think she's damn, good looking woman and what she did is great for the sport, it shows the deep emotion that rides in this sport.

I think Jim Dunn said it best in funny car summer , when he said "You buy the best parts you can get and you know there will be one winner and alot of losers but you never expect to break something"

Re: The most beautiful woman in the world screaming in frustration
Like I said, I just think she's a knock out. I remember back in the Steve Evans days, reading in ND that on occaision during the week in the summertime, she could be spotted during the week riding her motorcycle wearing nothing but a helmet and a bikini! I could picture a line of Good Ol' Boys chasing her down the interstate!

My Answer: Hell YES.. I hate the old Well, I like to thank all my sponsors and my crew who are doing a great job... bla, bla, bla crap. She had every right to be pissed and If you looked at George Byrce's face he was not so happy either. Wait I should not show any "emotion" because that scaries you.

Chris,
If you think Angelle is the most beautiful woman in the world you've got to get out more.

Angelle is like fine wine, she only gets better with age.
And when I saw the telecast I though, "Oh great the bashers will be out in full force." Sorry, but Angelle has always been emotional and extremely competitive. I'd rather have her than some sponsor-spewing robot.

Re: The most beautiful woman in the world screaming in frustration
Angelle is an attractive woman and a racers racer.
I like drivers that wear their emotions on their sleeve. Beats listening to canned corporate drivel that sounds like reading the fine print on a prescription drug commercial!
Angelle also has an impressive array of ex-husbands. Angelle - forget about the muscled hunks - what you really need is a middle aged pot bellied internet message board dweeb.
PM me, honey. I've been out of my parents basement for over FIVE YEARS SO FAR! Pick me I'm clean!

Re: The most beautiful woman in the world screaming in frustration
Most beautiful woman in the world? NO. In the top 1% .... ABSOLUTELY. That is more than can be said for most of us on this board.
Look, everyone is different.
The "stiff upper lip" set is going to think Angelle was childish.
The "emotions on the sleeve" set is going to think Angelle is OK.
No one is right and no one is wrong. Her actions certainly were warranted no matter what reaction she gave.
For me, I like knowing that losing bothers her. I like knowing in absolute terms that she gives a damn. I have always wondered about people who get to the pinnacle of something and lose and show no emotion whatsoever. If you derive no pleasure or pain from something ... what is the point of doing it??
Ignore the haters Angelle. Your day is coming.
PS Reason number 368 not to p!ss off Suzie Q ... she will kick you in the ding ding.

Ill try one last time...(its like talking to a wall). Showing emotion is great , give me all you got. She wasnt showing emotion , she was acting like a borderline spaz case. You`d think she was witnessing/involved in a truly tragic event. And if you say not being able to compete in a final round meets your definition as a tragic circumstance, you have lead a pretty "cushy" , sheltered life. She is what she is, I couldnt care less, its when people start saying this a normal behavior that is OK to be displayed in front of millions of people, yeah, that scares me.
