Has the era of john Force at the nexus of Drag Racing begun to end??? Has the Force publicity juggernaut lost steam ??? Or is everyone here asleep??? John Force FAILED TO QUALIFY and no one on this board has felt compelled to mention it. That would be impossible a year ago. Has 1000' racing so captivated the minds of our fellow Maters that John has slipped off the radar??? Is Tim Wilkerson the new John Force?? Has bashing the 'suits' at the helm of the NHRA replaced praying at the temple of John?? And if this is so will we finally be spared the {phony} reaction on Mama Force's face after any run having to do with a Force car??
I like John as much as anyone so I;m JUST ASKING

IMHO John Force is in testing mode
3 cars are flying down the track and John fails to qualify?
Lets see he is # 4 or 5 in the countdown.
He will sneak up and pounce the competition soon.
Ol Austin has a few tricks in his bag for sure
Just sit right back and watch.
This weekend was for sure a set back but am sure it won't happen again. Not this close to Indy.

Yea but if misses any more races and continues to go out in the first round he will not have a chance to pounce on anyone
And I am a Force fan so don't pounce

World's coming to an end because Papa DQ'd...
Papa made one pass that had him in the top sixteen all weekend... I'm more worried about Jimmy, Hopsing, Robert as they didn't make a full pull yesterday. Zippy and John M found the edge in rd 3 and made a clean pass in rd 4. Guido, Ron, and Princess played bracket car the first three, then pushed over the edge on the last hit.

Yepper, it's time for Papa, Uncle Austin, and B.F. to retire... personally, I think it's a loose nut behind the butterflies

Field is spread by .1 and the points leader is 'The Bubble Boy'...

I agree with everything you say but need to comment on one thing. The end of the force juggernaut? I think NOT!!!!!! Even if John does retire there is still the girls. Just what Ashley has accomplished already sez it all. And then you have his granddaughter who is always with her daddy at the track. I think it is a given she will follow in daddy's, papa's, and aunt Ashley's footsteps.So I don't think we have to worry about the fall of Force in our lifetime!!!!

Ridiculous , John is getting the unknown factor in the equation so the other three cars get the benefit of his computer data. Just didn't work in his favor (again)

I hate to be the one to say this, but seems to me that it's not HEADLINE NEWS that John Force has DNQ'ed at a NHRA NATIONAL EVENT. If memory Serves me correct, this is his 3rd DNQ in the last 20 races. I don't think it's AUSTIN, BERNIE, and the rest of the boyz on that Team that have slipped...but the other teams have become that much stronger. Look at the field.. Seperated by a .10th.... from top to bottom... And John missed the bump by .002!!!! 17 TOP FLIGHT FUNNY CARS IN THIS SHOW, not a SHOCK that John Force is the one that DNQ'd... Yeah, he's the MAN, and always will be, but it's tough to ALWAYS make the show, in this very difficult class!

Don't jump off the ship folks, JFR is not Ready for the Pasture yet....He still has some racin left in him!

Has anyone noticed how many times the racing community (including us keyboard crewchiefs) have said "Don't worry, Force will be back." over the past three years.
