I would love for them to release the names of the heartless punks who sent their resume in then.
Of course if they're looking for someone who is already local, someone who has no bad habits and that they could mold (read rookie) into whatever they wanted then I'm sitting right here  . I can be to the shop in minutes.

I think Phil or Jeff Arend would do an excellent job for the Kalitta group, but my true vote goes for Rapid! Wouldn't it be cool to have one of our own (even if he is an Ioweejun) in the car?

No, what purpose would that serve other than to give the keyboard jockeys in here something else to ***** about.
Trust me, word gets around and I'm sure the people that need to know already do.....but that is just my opinion.

I obviously didn't want to comment on this before it was brought up by the Kalitta's. I had thought about somebody that I believe used to have a relationship with the Kalitta's before their second dragster team was started. What about Scott Weis? I know he used to drive Funny Cars and I haven't heard much about him lately. Just a thought. It's nice to see they want to bring that car back. It looked like they were starting to get things together and then..............

If memory serves me didn't Doug Kalitta show a lot of interest in driving a Funny Car when Connie stated he would be running one?
