Some great laughs in tonites show. Holding his swim trunks up out of the water and his girls saying "just ignore him" was priceless.

EPPE Two tonight was really special as a full blown licence run is special and for John and Ashley it was really special. There have not been very many F/C girl drivers in History.
Shirley and Christin Powell are all that come to mind.

Diggers have had a few more like Lori Johns, Mel, Hillery, Rhonda Hartman Smith but still its a very exclusive club.
That was neat John saying if its moving around like this side to side motion with his hands its alright its nothing. Easy for you to say John. LOL

I'm liking this show and I really like the kids & Laurie, but I just have to ask this question. Are those girls as 'challenged' as they appear to be on the show? I mean, come on! Is that a hose? Doesn't know where the stamp goes on a letter? Doesn't know the meaning of the word 'original'?

It's a given that these kids have had everything done for them but come on! Surely they've at least received mail so that they should know where the postage stamp goes, no?

Please tell me that's scripted. Please?

Jackee, this is a true story. About 2 weeks ago my neice came up to me and asked where the stamp goes on an envelope (15 years old). I was like, what? are you serious? Here anwser:
"I've never sent a letter or ever received one. Hello, thats why we have email."
So it made me think, and I guess thats right, today's kids dont ever send letters, its all over email, instant messaging, etc. Though I do understand what your getting at though.

My favorite line from last night was, "If you let them go off with them boys, next year were going to be sitting here with the grand babies!"

Was that a vacation home that they stayed at? If so, that was one hell of a house. Good for you Mr. Force. Drag racing has been very, very good to me!

you'd think, with all the 'cute' guys Ashley knows from the business, she could do better... but that was the first time they'd seen each other in 4 months and body language showed she's not that nuts about him. I laughed about the shooters at the bowling alley... that struck close to home. And if John was really in trouble with the anchor, the film crew could have helped too...

I'm not surprised with anything that comes out of Brit's or Court's mouth, around that age group every Friday and Saturday night, my kids work as translators for me.

Anchors Aweigh and Adios Nacho

I loved this episode - I found it hilariously funny throughout. Yeah, I liked the "we'll be back with the grandbabies" crack and I found the scene where he took his swimsuit off funny as heck. I don't understand either why Ashley is/was involved with a freaky-looking guy like "Nacho" (what kind of name is that?). Geez, from what I saw @ Seattle, she could've had her pick of about 6-7,000 guys...

I do wonder exactly how much of the show is scripted - it seems that Ashley always gets the zingers in at exactly the right time. Maybe she's just naturally quick/witty, but it's seeming a bit too much of a coincidence.

Yeah and I can certainly relate to John's anchor experience. Years ago while on a cruise, I took a snorkelling trip in the Virgin Islands. Never having snorkelled, I inflated my vest and hopped off the boat. I guess I didn't inflate it enough because down, down, down I went. I saw the underside of the boat about 15 feet above me. That was the end of my trip - after thrashing madly to get back up, I abandoned the snorkelling. I did however help the captain of the sailboat empty the beer fridge while everyone else was out snorkelling... <g>
