If he was not there or was not on camera, then that may be the key to future wins, or perhaps it was just her time, 4 women win in the last month,
3 in the nitro class, she was the last now running the loud cars to win. So does it start over with Ashley then Melanie then Hillary, who will repeat first.

Great home video of a Lear jet out of Willow Run doing the Top Gun type buzzing over Willow road. Low and fast.

And then there was the time someone wrote " I wish I was in Dixie " on his plane. Way back before you ever heard of him. Now thats a great story.
And I do think Hillary was do for a win. The tune up your brother always puts up, went along with a great reaction time. Sort of like in baseball , when the batters are hitting well, in the same game as the pitcher is throwing well. It usually results in a win. And it did.

You must go way back with Connie, Dennis. Is that like the neverending butthair thingy?
I'm not sure where your bitterness comes from..and I'm probably glad I don't know..but my money is on Suzie.

Calm down , I am not at all bitter, and don't go back at all. Just adding a classic story I was told. Only makes sense if you know who Dixie was. Put your money someone named Force to win at least one more race this year, maybe two, or three.

Re: Classic Connie Kalitta story on nhra.com
I bet not many of you know about the blow up doll story! I don't know it in exact detail... but maybe go ask Connie; or better yet ask whoever the guy was on duty sitting in a control tower peering through his binoculars (I forgot where) who "thought it looked like" C-Rad had landed with no F/O and aparantly notified the FAA. The story goes that to leave the field, he "produced" the instant First Officer and got the hell out of dodge. Must have been back in the early 80's. That's a classic moment in aviation history.
