Butch Leal, the "California Flash", drove a Rod Shop Pontiac Firebird in the mid to late 80's.
Larry may have driven one, but I don't remember it in Pro Stock... maybe Comp?

The Rod Shop was right down the street from me (Livingston Ave Cols., Ohio) . In the early days it was only Dodge and Plymouth .

I believe Larry's first car with Rod Shop was a 4 cylinder "Iron Duke" Fiero. The engine was mounted in the front in the usual manner, not sideways in the rear. I think it ran in Comp.................."HIP"

That's what I was thinking Hip, i kind o remembered it, it had a weird little scoop, which I think may have been off to the side.

Those are some awesome looking rides. I really like the Sox & Martin car with the blue tinted head light lenses.
