I like the track in the county park at Medford,Oregon. It has an uphill shutoff area and at night it's lit up and you can see deer scampering across the track! And on the north side of the track there is a berm about 10 foot tall from behind the starting line to probably the finish line. I think it was put in to cut the noise but people bring couches and reccliners to put up there to watch the races !
Originally it was called Jackson County Motorsports,Then Southern Oregon Dragway and now Champion Dragway. There was an article in Hot Rod about the county building it to keep racing off the street back when it first opened.
