Ron Capps

I hope this question is not too silly, however I have to ask it.

Who here believes that Ron Capps will work for John Force Racing someday?

I have been thinking of that scenario lately.

Seems just as plausible as Cory Mac working for / under Don Shoe or TJ working for Bernstein. Who woulda thought?!

capps is a class guy and john and ron seem to be good friends, id love to see it but with the restriction of 4 cars per class it doesnt seem possible, john is a funny car guy so is ron, and with robert, ashley and zippy with seats already, ill bet just about the time john retires, courtney will be ready, then there is brittany too. john loves to bring up the kids instead of hire veterans it seems, but we can dream.

I'm just waiting for somebody to accuse Capps throwing the race so that his buddy John could claim his 1000th win.

My prediction is that the other Force girls will never go Nitro Funny Car (maybe Top Fuel) and Ron Capps fills John Force's seat when he retires.

I can always dream.

As far as Ron working for John? Eh, doesn't seem like there'd be room at JFR for Ron. Besides, they enjoy racing AGAINST each other entirely too much! But, like was said....when John retires?

Holy crap! Speaking of Ron....I'm just now getting around to watching the qualifying show. I know, I know....I've been busy this weekend! Anyway, he and Scelzi talking about the dirt race I had to crack up! "You know if you hit me right now, you're gonna get fined! I'm just warning you!" Classic Ron!

I've thought that for a while for some reason. Call it a hunch or just plain crazy, for the past couple years I've pictured those two working together at some point in the future.
