Who's next to 1000?
I couldn't find a list of round wins anywhere. Does anyone know where to find that?
I would assume WJ would be next in line.

Re: Who's next to 1000?
If we go sportsmen than Rampy would be in the equation. He needs more than 4 rounds to win a race and has won a ton of races.
KJ and Shoumacher would be high on the active and perhaps all time list also. Glidden and Kenny B on the retired all timers
Another stats I'd like to see is win % not only per round but also races entered vs races won. I would think Angelle and Anderson would lead this category. Definetly for active and probably for all time

Re: Who's next to 1000?
WOW someone starting out today would need to win 1/2 of their races and it would then "only" take 21 years to get to 1000. That is impressive

Thanks Brent. I think the stat that really gets me is when they said the other day that if you average out Force's round wins it means he's gone to the semi's in every race he's ever entered. Considering how bad he sucked in the beginning of his career, thats mind blowing.

Re: Who's next to 1000?
I'll lay odds on KJ being the only other racer to even have a chance in my lifetime. 1000 round wins is a whole lot of money/experience/expertise/etc. and if KJ hangs in there like his dad has, he'll have enough time but I can't see anyone else having that much success.
But, then again, I'm 57 so I'll be dead soon.

Re: Who's next to 1000?
I'm surprised to see Yates up there. I always think he had a few great years with the championships lasting a short time. I guess he's been good longer than I realized.
Beyond KJ I would think Dixon and Tony S would have a shot.
Beyond being good obviously hanging around along time helps. I wonder what the round win totals are for the under 30(or 30ish) crowd as at this point they would be the ones who have time to get to that mark.

Relax David,
It's not the years, it's the miles. A 39+ year marriage and 6 kids have accelerated my expiration.

Now that's a truly perspective and insightful way to look at things Mr. Miller.
Three kids and a 25 plus year marriage for me.
There's still hope for me yet!

Re: Who's next to 1000?
My guess is No one in the Pro ranks.
If you sweep every event in a season you only get 88 wins. Do that for 11.5 seasons and you get to 1000.
WJ is the only one with a realistic shot, numerically, but his production makes 1000 a very long shot. JMHO
