I've read a number of your posts that indicate a strong cause for alarm. I have to wonder, were you abused as a child or were you absent when winning friends and influencing people was discussed as an appropriate behavior in life?
Can't you just congratulate their success or maybe avoid certain posts altogether? Since you probably missed it when your mother told you, I'll repeat an important phrase. "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." It's stinking up a perfectly good thread.
Now, have a nice day.

Just will never really understand joy at anothers struggles, nor grief at their successes.
Poor character or breeding I guess...........

Now Rex, you know the problem really is that you're just too "conservative" to appreciate "outspoken" people! We have to learn to be more "sensitive."

Honestly Rick, shut the hell up!
Grubnics been in a final this year, Hillary a semi, And Dougs gone a few rounds, so I guess that's quite a few round wins for the team.
Man lay off the booze, it's rotting your brain!

Re: Kalitta Racing
congrats to team kalitta! all 3 dragsters in the top 5 thats awesome, its sad that people like rick have nothing better to do except spew hate on a great team like the kalitta team. im sure he can tune and drive better in his top fuel car anyhow i hope we see a kalitta car in the winner circle today!

I think I has become clear where the hex comes from....Shirley! Right after her TV time, including a curious Hillary statement...boom...both cars up in smoke.

Re: Kalitta Racing
Since 06'? Doug won a race last year.
3 of the top 5 qualifers plus 2 semi final finishes, seems like a good weekend to me. 3 in the top 10 in points (actually top 9)
Hillary is in 6th. Everyone above her has a race win. So she's the best of the rest right now...and of course a win waiting to happen.
No doubts that they had a rough year last year but look at many teams. Wilkerson is having a rebound year, Del seems to be back after some down time. Capps went through a rough spell a few years ago. Todd and Lucas are down right now but they'll pop back up. It's the nature of the sport.
Go team K

Re: Kalitta Racing
I really don't understand why Hillary would say she didn't care what Shirley thought about her. I would like to think Hillary would absolutely care what a legend has to say about her, and I think Shirley was right, she should care. That whole segment was a little weird. I guess Shirley vs. Kalitta has become personal again, what a shame for two living legends.

Re: Kalitta Racing
I think it blind sided Hillary a bit, She gets out of the care and is told Shirley is on the phone. That would seem a bit odd.
As far as her comments, knowing the blow up with Shirley and Team K, Hillary probably wasn't sure what if anything Shirley had said about her during the segment. Its always difficult to comment on a tense situation on camera when you come in on the middle of the conversation.
