Wow, this is certainly more info than I thought I'd get....thanks to everyone for submitting your 2 cents!
I guess there are two sides two every story, however, it looks like the Johns family were definitely black balled (probably rightfully so) for more than their share of bad Karma. Oh, well....as the French say....c'est la vie! Thanks again!

I remember in like 95-96 she was offered a ride in a TF dragster as a team mate of FC Ronnie Young. I saw her make a test lap at the Dallas Sportsman race, but was released from the team before they ever ran a Natl. event. She must be hard to work with...

Talk about mixed blessings--I was fortunate enough to be in attendance at Bandimere for the first four second run on the mountain.....UNfortunately it was Lori Johns who made that run

The guy who owned the Jolly Rancher company, I think it was based in Washington state, was really into racing. Then he passed away, and the company started cutting back on their involvement. After the company was sold to Hersheys all the motor sports activity pretty much came to a screeching halt.
