Re: Force A 1.70 light then up in smoke!
I've had two non race people now mention to me today how they see "that Force guy give his daughter a win."
I can easily argue either side on is, I'm torn. However I choose to say congrats to Ashley. I'm a little worried the impression that it has given to outsiders.
I guess the solution to that will be for her to go out the next race and Kick everyones are again

Re: Force A 1.70 light then up in smoke!
I won't even bother responding to all of the conspiracy theorists.
I will, however, take the time to send a well-earned congrats to Ashley and crew! If Vegas is taking bets on 2008 FC points champions, I'll be loading up the bets on Ashley. That team is looking better than everyone else so far this year.

Congrats Ashley and John. As for the neysayers, you guys must have grown up watching WWF. It was unfortunate that John's run sucked so bad that it was suspect but its not the first time John choked and it won't be the last.As a NHRA fan I'm thankful for all John Force does for the sport. Maybe those of you who are a little negative about NHRA should tune into WWF.

That is something I simply do not understand. I mean if you only want to communicate with people who share your views and agree with you, why post on a message board in the first place?
Besides, putting Joe Sherwood on an ignore list is not only just plain silly, it's also a case of cutting off the nose to spite the face. Even if you disagree with his views, you've got to admit that he takes some pretty badass photos of the various NHRA Nationals. Even if I disagreed with every post he'd ever written (which is certainly not the case) I'd still be looking forward to his excellent race pics.

Sometimes the mind of a 6 year old tends to come up with the most obvious answers to things folks. Stop diggin at something that's just not there!

Joe, Rich, Jeff, Steve. Now you know what it's like to be on the recieving end on a negative post, doesn't feel too good does it, Besides didn't Del, Jim, and Ron do good diving jobs for Ashley as well.
Some members here have kids that are smarter than you guys are.

Kenny I've been on the receiving end of more negative posts than you can shake a stick at, on just about every Messageboard out there! Thing is I say what I think, if that offends people than I live and learn. Simple as that..

Re: Force A 1.70 light then up in smoke!
Once again, I'm ashamed to see the hatred for JFR come during one of their most special moments. Can't you guys at least hold yourselves back to let them celebrate such an event without peeing in their Wheaties? Is it so bad that you can't just help yourselves from spewing something tainted about such a moment and hold your negativity long enough to let them celebrate - or are you also the guys who go to weddings just to yell out something cute when the Reverend asks to "Speak now, or forever hold your peace?"
My only hope is that JFR members pay as much attention to this thread as the NHRA has the Nitrogate threads.
Oh, by the way, I wish to thank the IRL announcers for bringing thousands of additional viewers with their crossover remarks. It sure kept me glued to the broadcast even though I kinda-sorta understood what they were alluding to. Seeing it was no less exciting for all of us!
Congrats, JFR and especially Ashley, Guido and crew! You've outscored Austin, Bernie and John's operation all year so far. Why not one more race????
