Tire Mfg change?

Just saw this, does anyone know if the big tires come from Kansas?

Big tires, as in earthmover and heavy equipment?? If that's what you mean, then yes I believe they come out of the Topeka plant, but since we haven't been a Goodyear dealer in about 4 years, I don't pay much attention to their operations...

Sorry, I was unintentionally vague, yes, I am referring to the nitro class tires.

I understand there's a lot of cost in R & D but it would be nice if there was at least a second choice for tires in Pro categories, i think it would be good for competition. I don't know if the slicks are made at this plant but the deal sounds good for the plant.

I wasn't sure.....

I don't think the race tires are built in the Topeka plant, and I don't think Goodyear would sell off it's motorsports business, IMO.
