Re: Nice CMac writeup
Tom, Cook has been whining about that $20 since the Vegas final round. The boy just can`t let it go!
Are you still planning on Topeka?

Re: Nice CMac writeup
Nice article. I 'd love to see Cory go the distance and get a title.

Re: Nice CMac writeup
I've always liked Cory. I was really cheering him on back in '92, hoping that he'd win the title essentially running out of his own pocket. I remember chatting with him near his pit area for some time at the Brainerd event that year and he really impressed me. I'm glad to see things go his way again.

I wouldn't call it whining so much as statement of fact. I had BIG plans for that 20 spot.

Re: Nice CMac writeup
It's a nice article, but one part of it is not explained well. It says when Joe Gibbs left drag racing at the end of 2000, Corey Mac was forced into bankruptcy. Why would loss of his sponsorship do that? The article indicates he only ran one race in 2001, so it doesn't look like he took out a second mortgage on his home to campaign an entire season. The implication is that Gibbs left CM hanging with a lot of debt obligations that crippled him financially!?
