How is it that NHRA gets the Nostalgia Blown cars allowed to run at Fontana. But the D-7 race won't allow TAD or FC?

The weekend went really smooth
although the car count was soft we had no problems
it was nice to have a smooth test and tune and then a great race
after talking to some of the aa/gas guys like renteria and mahood they loved the track
right now with the gas prices and other issues with the economy i'm just glad we had racers there
i was glad to work the front of stagging and thanks to the racers and crew for making it an easy weekend
the noise deal is being worked on and shortly will be handled that's why the alky d7 cars won't be there next weekend

Did they run the blown fuelers at this race?

No, the AA/FC & AA/FD's are scheduled for the Fall NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series event on September 13-14 at Auto Club Dragway.

Unfortunately the schedule at Fontana was switched only a few weeks ago.



The next events are the Speed Spectacular at the Strip at Las Vegas on May 2 - 4 for AA/FC's and the Vegas NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series event will also contest other nostalgia drag racing classes, including: A/Gas, B/Gas, C/Gas, D/Gas, Hot Rod and three Nostalgia Eliminator classes. A pair of Fuel Altereds will also battle in heads-up, first-man-to-the-finish-line-wins match racing. So far over a dozen Nitro AA/FC's will be attending.



And the Bakersfield Fuel & Gas Championships at Famoso May 30 - June 1 for AA/FD, A/Fuel, Junior Fuel A, Junior Fuel B, and AA/Gas Supercharged, Nostalgia Eliminator 1, Nostalgia Eliminator 2, and Nostalgia Eliminator 3; A Gas, B Gas, C Gas, and D Gas; and Hot Rod.
