I coulda sworn I heard Frey say something about Dave Friday at Vegas. Something about 2 weeks "you heard it here first" and rhyming with purple??? Anyone else hear this?

You heard the same thing I did. He said Dave will be in Atlanta, I guess we will know soon.

I asked Jeggie about Dave at the Palms autograph session on Thursday night. Jeggie said Dave would be back very soon ... but would not elaborate any further (for obvious reasons). Is there still time to get into the top 10/Countdown???

If he gets back in the game in Atlanta, he will have 13 races. The top 10 gets set at the conclusion of the US Nationals. Justin Humphreys is in 10th spot with 200 points right now. There's time but it will be close. However, if anyone can do it, Dave C can!!!

Sorry I couldn't quote what Bob said verbatim. I was in Vegas from Wednesday until Monday morning. (Sleep deprivation) Maybe it wasn't purple. The PA was in and out from my vantage point.

Yep it's true.... The car is purple with a little yello and white from the front headlights going back.... Its going to be good to have Dave back...
