Driver Seat Protection for Tube Chassis Cars

From all the nice pieces i've seen from VPRC i'm not surprise to see this new innovative piece to protect the driver on tube chassis cars.

This was found on an add on Comp Plus.

I have seen that on a few select cars. I say; "Why not?!"
Tires are tires. Just some more protection if they go away. And some of these guys do run the GoodYear fuel tires from time to time.
