Just wanted to say that I was at Walmart and they sell packaged whole-bean Dunkin Donut coffee. My first intent was to by MAXWELLhouse. BUT, when I saw the Dunkin Donut coffee even for a buck more I knew what I had to do. I bought the Dunkin Donut Coffee and it's the besy coffee I have ever bought. Product advertising on the A/Fuel Dragster worked for me as I never would have bought it had I not read about this sponsorship last week.

I 'll be looking into that Canidae dog food too. It's no sold in the big box stores but if you go to the website you can find a local dealer.

I am not a coffee drinker, but I will help support Dunkin Donuts with some morning eats for the office.

Well Bob, that sponsorship rescued me from drinking more bad coffee. I have even bought the store brands on occasion.

A GOOD cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee is hard to find here in CT. Boiled pond water is generally better than the coffee most of the Dunkin' Donuts (ESPECIALLY the one in my town) make around here. Congratulations on finding the good stash.

What's the secret to making 'good' Dunkin Donuts coffee? It never impressed me at their retail locations. Do you use more than they recommend? I've always thought of it as very weak in flavor, but I'm willing to give it a fresh shot.

The secret to good coffee is lots of coffee for the water. I use a French press and let that water steep in the coffee grinds for a long time. That way the coffee is nice and strong.

The stuff was definitely an acquired taste for me. Most weeks I deliver cabinets to the northeast, 15-20 stops and, got used to it because often a Dunkin Donuts is the only thing around. Like my buddy Rex, I couldn't understand why people raved about it and still don't. Quite often I'll grab that and a buttered bagel.

I laugh and joke with new customers when they say "Turn left after the Dunkin Donuts." There's a Dunkin Donuts in the directions to just about anywhere in the northeast!

We got a water filter for the kitchen sink tap for Christmas. I never knew how bad my coffee had tasted until after that. I learned then that it has as much to do with the water as anything.

Yeah, if they're using unfiltered tap water that tastes bad in the first place, then give you weak coffee that isn't strong enough to knock THAT taste out?

Hey, Jim. The Dunkin Donuts across the street from the Pilot at exit 40 is one I frequent. Should be in your backyard, practically. That or I'm driving around behind them so I can go into the Cracker Barrel and listen to northerners ask "Can I get wheat toast instead of biscuits with that?"

With 15 to 20 stops in the Northeast that means you you must see at least 100 Dunk's

I am from Boston and even I know how wrong that is. That is sacrilege.

I know! I'm sitting there thinking "Why did you come to Cracker Barrel? There's a diner across the street." I order things that say what they come with and STILL have to say to the waitress "Yes, I want the grits! Yes, I want the gravy! An extra bowl of it, if you don't mind."

You're on the southwest side of Boston, if I remember right. Next week I have 21 stops, with the majority of them all around you. You're right, I see a LOT of Dunkin Donuts stores. It's a good thing I have Old Country Buffet's locations printed off and stored in the truck or, I wouldn't have anywhere else to eat up there!

BTW, the French have been the second largest force in Afghanistan, after us. They weren't with us on Iraq, but they've been good friends in Afghanistan.
Of course, given the amount of armor he provided them and the number of troops he originally sent into Iraq (before the surge), I not convinced Bush was all that great a supporter of our troops in Iraq either. it took firing Rumsfeld and appointing Yates to start to get that effort right-too bad he listened to Rumsfeld (civilian) as opposed to Shinseki (Army General) in terms of the number of troops he sent to Iraq.

And speaking of supporting our troops, a very big round of applause for Hillary Will for going overseas to visit our fighting guys and gals.

We do have 2 Cracker Barrel's in the area now. One located south west near the junction of of Rte 495 near the I-95 Jct in Wrentham. The other is located north of the city also on Rte 495 in Tewksbury, right near the jct with I-93. When I go to Bristol for the NASCAR race in Aug we almost always stop at the same CB at exit 150 in Trotutville on I-81. My friends love it.

I'll have to steer you more toward this place the next time you're down this way. They'll have you throwing rocks at Cracker Barrel.
