The first ever WORLD FUEL ALTERED NATIONALS was completed this past Saturday at Eddyville Raceway Park in Oskaloosa, Iowa. 14-cars from all over the United States made the trip to see who would be the king of the hill at the end of the weekend.

The Friday night qualifying session was rained out. Saturday brought cloudy skies and cool temperatures. There were a few mini-showers off and on throughout the morning and into the middle of the afternoon. At 3:00PM it became evident there was no way to get in a complete elimination ladder. The drivers meeting was held and decided to run a modified Chicago style format. There would be 1-qualifying session. The 4-quickest cars would come back for the 1st round. The final pair would advance to the final.

It was a good show..rained on the parade..but they pulled it off Saturday. Eddyville is a nice lil facility.

As a side note..the 1st run for Randy..got all squirley and still ran 4.87..wow.

2nd run..when it didn't really mean anything..it just barked off the line..I mean I believe all 4 wheels were off the pad..I've since figured out my shutter speed sh!t and I will catch it next time.
