You're correct on all your points Todd. Great looking car, but the cab (roof line) looks exactly like a Stratus. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but this car (like the Stratus) shares very little with the production car.

Since Chevy and Dodge are getting back in the muscle car business I'd sure like to see NHRA take that opportunity to make these cars look like the production unit.

well as nitromaters biggest poncho fan, the jury is still out for me, i mean , i love the paint! its killer, and great luck to jim this year, but im not sold on the buck tooth nose and i havent seen it from the rear yet, the production models rear roof line/swoop is butt ugly. and this will probably by far be the most killer paint on any of the gxp cars. ok i miss the GTO already but im sure i will like it in time just like i didnt want to see the firebirds ( the nicest pontiac pro stocks ever) replaced by the grand ams. im sure we will se more pics @ the superbowl.

you really cant tell much about the styling of the car from that picture! and i think i agree with whoever said the hood scoop being higher than the roof is result of an optical illusion...i'd have to see a few more angles before I went jumping to conclusions...though i did conclude that is an awesome paint job!

I had a hunch it was a banshee design. I see a whole lot of ol scotty in that design. It brought back some good old memories of that dominant old PM Studebaker.

i do not care for pro stock body designs lately.
every year they look less and less like what we drive (FC's too)
the scoop looks ridiculous.
the low shallow windshield looks ridiculous.
why don't they just enclose the wheels.......
oh, we need to see the wheels so we're reminded that
it is a car.
