I don't think it would affect his school at all. Frank is at a lot of the NHRA races anyway working with various drivers. I know when we attended his class he flew in late on Sunday(or early Monday) and he was there bright and early for class on Monday!

Okay, I know that the owners of the Chi Town Hustler were Farkonas, Coil and Minnick. But Frank drove that thing to two titles and was the last person to drive the Hustler on the NHRA tour right?

I don't think anyone would be doing 800' burnouts these days.

Get Stange to step up for a couple of races and run a Team Strange redux!!

Re: Frank Hawley

As much as I dislike the fact that Ashley will be setting out, it would be worth it for Frank to make a return to the FC seat.

Re: Frank Hawley

My first Drag race was in Columbus in 1982.
I remember the Classy Frank Hawley and the Chi-Town Hustler more than any other car..
Well, the Shirley Lucille Lee thing was kinda at the top too!

Frank is one of the great FC drivers, sitting right there with The Snake, The Mongoose, Raymond Beadle, Billy Meyer and Tim Grose.
What a great present to everybody to get to see this cat back behind the wheel!
Thanks Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Frank Hawley

Hawley racing Force again. Too bad KB didn't come back this year. That would be a old time classic matchup for sure.

This is too cool. Can't wait for Pomona.

Thanks indeed Mike!!!
