That's cool, Brent..

You would think at night and all it would be a breeze..but man..after rain and being close to the Mississippi..a tint of fog..that track was greasy. And like the great Bret Kepner said..these cars are not regular there. Clay's pass was a big achievement..as well as Tony's Sat..and Ron stayed in it as well. TJ was primed but after half track..pfft.

Saw Rapid..met T. Smitty..Jerry G..Lippy Dude..shook Rhonda's, Mitch and TJ's hand and said hi to Capps. Gave and got the thumbs up from Arnie the Farmer (man..love THAT dude).

I enjoyed the day..great crowd..and my Son is now hooked..(11) Had his first nitro tear..LOL..was a classic.

It was a good time without a doubt. The rain coming down sucked as it pushed everything back. My buddy was in the Frantic 14 final and we did not make our last pass until 1:30 in the morning! Hell, at least he won it. It was sweet watching the nostalgia funny cars run too!
