Re: TRIVIA Time!!
There are not 9 answers to question 5. Only 8 should be listed. Isn't one of them a double up?

Re: TRIVIA Time!!
Sorry Big John, No. 10 was John Collins in the JVC car and "Ace" in the Miller Lite car.
Have the tape and it was funny watching mounted police ride to the accident site on their horses.

Re: TRIVIA Time!!
Isn't Butch Leal's nickname "Butch"? I know he was also known as the California Flash but Butch is rarely a person's birth name.

Okay, if his Dad owned the Mac Attack team there are 9. But he does not drive for DSR. Whoever listed his Dad first will get a prize too.

Re: TRIVIA Time!!
Raymond Beadle won the 82 Southern Nationals. Schumake won in 1981.

Re: TRIVIA Time!!
I'm late to the trivia contest, but I do remember Ronnie Young driving the Blue Max after Richard Tharp. I don't know if he ran any national event but I do remember him running a match race or two.
R.C. Sherman was indeed involved in a qualifying accident at the Cajun Nationals. That was I believe in '89. He was in the left lane, smoked the tires and crossed the centerline and hit the guardrail on the right lane. My bad memory escapes me if anyone was in the right lane at the time, I do know RC did not collide with anyone.

I think Eric Reed was in the other lane.

I was reading the Beadle story on Comp Plus today (I just came across it which was a coincidence seeing as I had a question based on the Blue Max) and it mentioned Ronnie Young as the last to drive it. It made no mention of the 'Goose though. Did he drive it at a national event?
