Race Day Trivia
So while in Dallas I hear them advertise the "RACE DAY TRIVIA" on the big screen and think I will enter it. Somehow I forget and don't enter, no problems.
While in Vegas they advertise it again so I join. I had to text "RACE" to 1-800-THIS-WILL-COST-A-FORTUNE. I miss the first few questions (didn't see them) and finish 11th.
Anyway Pomona rolls around and I am receiving the questions while at home. I answer them all correctly and get a text at the end of the day telling me I came 4th, cool!
Monday I get a call from a girl telling me that I have won a prize and she has to check my eligibility, no problem. Question 1: Are you over 18 years of age - YES! Question 2: Are you an American Citizen - NO! "I'm sorry Sir, you are not eligible for the $100 gift certificate. I know how it feels though as I am not a citizen either. Have a good day!"
THANKS LADY!!
Just thinking what I could have bought with the $100.....

Paid the text bill?
Heck, all you had to do was pick Bernstein over Toliver to win a steak dinner from what I heard?

I love the 1-800-THIS-WILL-COST-A-FORTUNE. Actually Paul, if you want to win some moola, hang out with my wife at the casino next year in Vegas.

I think it was a 50-50 bet at the time. I am sure I have made worse bets and something tells me I will make them again in the future.
Looking forward to the steak when the opportunity arises.

They let her in wearing her "I'm with Stupid" t-shirt on. Actually, she just plays penny slots when not playing the tables. We don't hang out in the high roller area, the money goes too fast. She's been tremendously fortunate each time we've gone to Vegas but this last trip was the best ever.

Re: Race Day Trivia
If I'm not mistaken I thought the $100 was a $100 gift card to Motorcraft, because I thought Motorcraft sponsored that trivia contest.

Isn't Texas a country though Kelly? Well I was told the state of Texas would like to be their own county hehe. I think they should, I'll be waiting to sign up and you'll find me in Austin or Houston haha. Also we need to keep Paul there, he'd go crazy back here, need to keep him sane!
On another note, Paul I think you and I should run a Mater trivia contest once a week, you have the sticker prizes, and I'm sure I can dig out some stuff
