John Force, seriously injured last Sunday at Ennis, Texas, when his Castrol GTX High Mileage Ford Mustang broke in two during his second-round match against Kenny Bernstein at the O'Reilly Fall Nationals, vowed Wednesday to return to drive in at least the final two events of the season.

Force endured another strenuous physical therapy session Wednesday at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in the hope of speeding his release.
