Re: Tom Anderson
In 2005 at least Tom Anderson was tuning for Jim Sickles in the Meyers RV Stores Alcohol FC....don't know if he is still with that organization or not

Re: Tom Anderson
Jim sold the last car he ran, the Monte Carlo, after the Meyer's deal ended. I've known these guys a long time, and I'll just say that you probably haven't heard the last of them...

Re: Tom Anderson
It`s surprising to me Tom hasn`t been tuning on the NHRA tour. Al, Helen and Tom had a pretty good run together with those BDS, Western Auto & Parts America floppers.

I had heard that they were trying to put together an IHRA nitro funny car program, but have heard nothing since. Be nice to see them back out there.

Re: Tom Anderson
I think if the deal were right, an IHRA Nitro car would happen, or another TAFC. Like everyone else, it depends on the funding and the marketing partner's needs. You guys may remember that Jim & Tom ran an NHRA Nitro car for I think 2 seasons, but Jim never upgraded his license. He was too busy working on funding! I'll never forget how he couldn't believe how fast nitromethane just obliterated equipment compared to running alky. What was cool was when he had Chuck Etchells driving the fuel car. One of the sport's good guys and a super FC driver. Still miss him being out there.
