Sounds like it, hopefully all the new safety improvements did it's job otherwise it could have been a lot worse.

Usually I stay away from here on Sunday. I missed hearing about in on the NASCAR race as I fell asleep. I couldn't believe the thread when I saw it.

This thread is growing faster than I can read it and that is the way it should be. As bad as this is and it is bad, we have to be thankful for the new safety gear they have installed on these cars. It is probably what saved pappa johns life....

It is remarkable that Eric is still watching over for Team Force. Don't think so? Just remember the crashes of Robert and Ashley and now John......

It looks as if Force lost control and not KB. Truly a scary accident. Lets hope for a full and speedy recovery.

Holy Sh*t, I just saw the crash on ESPN. KB had nothing to due with the crash, the only thing I could easily tell is that something failed on John's car. I wish John well in his recovery!

tire blew and the chassis broke...it's hard to see what happened to the cockpit on John's car cuz the camera cuts away to Kenny
