Did Force and KB Crash?

I've got the race recorded and I have HD. What I'm about to say is the way it appears to me after looking @ it several times frame by frame . I no expert,don't claim to be and never will be,just what I'm seeing. When KB hit the first block,you can see something shiny shooting across into Force's lane,could be a reflector or another object and I can't tell if it went under or behind Force. If they use tape,I don't think that's what I'm seeing. KB is almost a full car ahead @ the finish line so I'm believe something would have time to get over there. You can see what appears to be a tire chunking,pieces flying up everywhere and @ the hit of the chutes,the car starts separating. You can even see a flash of fire in one of the frames but went out quickly. When the chutes hit,the car separated and the most amazing thing happened,the part Force was in went up instead of down,then tilted downward but never flipped over,that's the amazing part to me. If it had flipped,it could have been a lot worse IMHO. I'm in no way saying that KB caused it by hitting the blocks or if a piece from them got in the other lane,just what I'm seeing happen frame by frame.

First post on the Mater... Please be nice...

In all the footage I saw (HD as well), including the pics of the axle/cage after the incident, I never saw a tire that was delaminated or all chunked up. I'll admit I could have missed it... But, where I'm going is, for arguments sake if the tire never came apart and the first piece of debris that shot up on the left side of Force's car ripped the body/quarter panel/spillplate, could enough force (no pun intended) have been applied to the rear of the chassis through the reminants of the wing to have destroyed the chassis like that?

10 to 1 odds they already know what happend and if they don't they are damn close to knowing or have a pretty good idea and in my opinion the only people that need to know are the chassis builder(s), the team owners and drivers (in all forms of funny car racing) and the guy who writes the rule book.....but that isnt to say that i (along with many owners) wouldn't like to know

I think I have the answer....it's the new points system that is causing all of this ****! It has everyone so keyed up they have to ponder other things...

I'm glad Mr. Force is OK and I'm sure the higher powers that be will get it all sorted out or atleast I hope they do before some of you on here have strokes!

Welcome to Nitromater Steve. I think that you'll find that the vast majority of 'maters are nice. (Unlike the days when people could hide behind a screen name. ) Even back then, most members were 'nice'.
