Did Force and KB Crash?

I can shed some light on this since I was there. Eric was in the AAA body during raceday but they used the Syntec car on Monday for testing. I was talking to a crew guy on Eric's team on Sunday night asking him if they were testing Monday and he said yes but they were using the black body because they didn't have many of the AAA bodies and they were saving those for raceday. Thanks for the info, I was just going off what I had been told and it was a good source. It doesn't really matter at this point.

You are right. None of that matters now. I just wanted to set the story straight since I was one of the few that was there and seen what happened. I know alot of people speculate. I just thought that some facts may help.

This is great news!! Really good to hear.

I can just see the doc's faces when John asked what it would take to get him back in the saddle for Virginia.

"Um, in a word, NO!!!"

Orthopedic surgeons and rehab people don't mess around much any more these days. No more laying around in bed, waiting for things to knit. They get you up, out of bed and on your feet as soon as they can. Within several days of my brother's hip operation, they were already doing stuff, like range of motion, etc.

Just thinking.. If Force can stage, and idle down track and get 10 points for making an attempt, and Capps, Scelzi, and Ashley all DNQ, Force could still make the countdown!

Ain't flaming ya... as if John would 'Just Idle down the Track'... question is, can he get medical clearance? If he's in the car, he'll make that Ol' Houndawg Talk... make the final four, then sit out the last two...

Paul, I doubt anyone will flame you. We all know Force is looking at every possible option to stay in the hunt. He'll probably be out 'til '08, but like the Lotto people say---"Hey, ya' never know". I'm just happy to hear that he will be OK.

he is an amazing guy! i say rest up till 08 big john then come out and kick all thier butts at pomona 08 and win # 15!

I am more concerned about his hand injuries than his leg injuries. I know that Bruce Allen is still having problems from his crash two years ago. It would be amazing if Force could run again in 07, but if they don't find the cause of the accident will any of his team cars run in Virginia?

If you look at Greg Moons last picture frame it looks like there is a larger than normal hole where the blower is suspose to be . The body dosen't look like it's lifted up enough to hide the blower?

I think what you are seeing is the opening for the burst panel, which was gone at that point--quite possibly the square looking piece under the PN in the ESPN logo top right.
