You guys do not understand. The NHRA is on ESPN. Who cares what the quality of the broadcast is. The NHRA is on ESPN. The ratings might be in the toilet. But the NHRA is on ESPN. You might have to stay up all night to see the NHRA on ESPN. But the NHRA is on ESPN. I will add just one more point.
The NHRA is on ESPN. That is all that is important.

Didn't bother last night... knew who was in or out... they don't show the Show from Friday night so you don't get to see the passes that got people in the field... Flopper was set after the 3rd pair in the 4th rd... and I wasn't going to sit up all night listening to Countdown Hype...

But tell me, did they have a camera crew follow Mike to Temple?

I have programmed my DVR to always record all drag racing shows 2 hours past the scheduled end time. Hopefully this will always be a catch all.

Maybe it will be ontime tnight,no Nascrap or wasteball on before!!

Here I was all set to watch the show this morning with my coffee while my laundry was going. I turn on DVR and see Football. Ok not a big deal it has about 3 minutes to go which should take about 10 minutes. I can deal with that and I understand as it is COLLEGE FOOTBALL......

Then I fast forward and what do it see but a baseball RECAP show. Pissed off yeah a little. It doesn't matter how good the show is if you can't watch it. Yeah it is on ESPN2 but so what. At that hour of the morning and with the screwed up showing, it could be on the FOOD network and get the same amount of people watching. Then of course Rachel Ray might be on..

So instead of getting worked up I just said forget about it because it is obvious that nobody cares and that is not going to change anytime in the near future. Why? Because the NHRA Guiding staff made the brillant deal and of course they can't be wrong. Now the same group of people are supposed to be heading to HD to run that show.... All I can say is I wish them all the luck in the world as they are going to need it.

ps: Sorry one last thought. Since the ratings are in the dumper, then why not move it to Speed Channel? At least they would promote it and treat it as an important event. Certainly the numbers of viewers can't get much worse not unless the other guy decides not to watch either...

Yeah it sucks, but it shouldn`t come as any surprise, especially this time of year. There are WAY more people that care about what happened in Major League Baseball than qualifying from an NHRA race. No way they won`t show Baseball Tonight. This happens every year to NHRA and every year people on here ***** about it. Besides, it looked to me like the qualifying show was shown in its entirety....I kept dozing off, so I`m not real sure!

With the lack of movement in qualifying on Saturday, was it worth it to stay up and watch? I listened on the internet and didn't see the point of watching.
