Thanks for the answer. Looks like a ALL corvette class.

I know Scotty used to have the 53 stude, but at Milan, I also saw 57 chevies, 53 vette's 63 vette's a 62 belair the 69 dodge daytona that crashed and the viper. I'm sure I have missed some, but pro mod has a pretty good diversity. I also remember a factory looking 69 camaro, lots of 68's that look pro mod and Charles Carpenter was there with his 55 Chevy, so really, it's a pretty diverse class, but , still lots of Vettes.............Perry Jr.

I only found cannon ball racing and it looks like it is controlled/owned by Oakley/J.J.

Damn you are bitter about this rule! 2008 is a long time away and most everyone would have a different car by then anyway. This just helps the class keep the look that IHRA wants. I think it's a good enough lead time.

Those aerodynamic PS cars entered the class out of a competitive necessity. Cannon's Stude or the Willy's were just so much cooler. As were Castellana's Camaro and 57.

I agree there are too many 63 Corvettes. I'd like to see Cannon build one of those new Cudas like Critchley has. Those look pretty sweet. He also could build a new corvette or viper too. Those aren't PS legal.

Jeff

This post does not represent the opinion of the IHRA as a whole. Just Jeff.
