Tindle Prepares for "Crunch" Time at Indy

CLERMONT, Ind. – With only this weekend's NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis and three more races remaining, Tim Tindle knows it's time for both him and his Tindle Enterprises Inc. (T.E.I.) owned, GT 500E Mustang to be at peak performance.

"It's crunch time, baby, and this T.E.I. team needs to be ready. We have had a few inconsistencies throughout the season and we need to work through those and have this Chuck Ford powered Ford ready for "Crunch Time."

"We have to focus on one round at a time at Indy and then perform better than we have all season long. If we do that, then we will improve our position in the AMS Series. "Yes, I'm like everybody else at Indy, I want to win."

Tindle, who won the ProCare RX Supernationals, Englishtown, NJ, is the only racer to defeat point's leader Joshua Hernandez in any 2007 AMS Promod Challenge event, presented by Tindle Enterprises.

Racing is scheduled to begin with qualifying at 5:15 p.m. Friday, August 31, 12:30 and 4 p.m. Saturday, September 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, September 2. Eliminations begin with the first round at 5:10 p.m. Sunday evening and continue Monday, September 2 some time after 11 a.m. Same-day, round-by-round coverage is available on NHRA.com and DragRaceCentral.com, and daily notes and summaries will be available on NHRA.com, CompetitionPlus.com and the series website, AMSProMods.com.
