Big weekend ahead for Creasy

Big weekend ahead for Creasy

BEECHER, Ill. (August 1, 2007) When the race schedule came out for the 2007 Knoll-Gas Nitro Jam Drag Racing series, Dale Creasy, Jr, highlighted his calendar for the August 3-5 Torco Race Fuels Northern Nationals. After all, it was the race that his car sponsor calls his home track.

The crowned jewel of the IHRA Drag Racing series has quickly become the Knoll-Gas Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan. It's just as important for Creasy and his championship team. "It's a big weekend for us and for Torco," Creasy explains. "Evan goes all out for this event. It's truly a testament to how much he loves drag racing. There will be lots of friends and family for this hometown race."

High quality drag racing is something that has become synonymous with the Knoll-Gas, Torco Race Fuels and Skull Gear names. This race will be no different as truck loads of Knoll sponsored cars will converge at the track for bragging rights.

The Knoll Gas - Torco Racing Fuels Nitro Funny Car class will be one of the premier fields, featuring points leader and 2006 IHRA defending champion Dale Creasy as he faces the toughest competition of the season. Creasy's long-time friend Gary Densham will add his Torco flopper to the already competitive field along with Mike Ashley and his Knoll tribute "Fuel Doctor" car.

"The competition will be fierce," Creasy said. "We're just going to go out there and concentrate on running our race. With guys like Jack Wyatt and Bob Gilbertson and everyone else that will be our here, we'll have to stay on our toes. Anyone can take you out if your not paying attention."

Dale Creasy, Jr. and his championship Torco powered Nitro Funny Car, partner with high quality and performance companies like; Torco Race Fuels, Oakley, Red Line Oil, MSD, Crane Cams, BME, Fram Autolite, Polydyn TX7, TEK PAK, VSI, GM Performance and Beaver Shredding.
