McMillen fights back to seventh in points standings

TULSA, Okla. (June 27, 2007) -Terry McMillen and his Amalie Oil InstiGator Funny car powered by Torco Race Fuels fought through rain delays and adversity to put the Hoosier Thunder Motorsports team back into the top 10.

"It's been tough," McMillen explained. "But we've made a lot of positive steps to get this car back into cion. After destroying and engine and blower in Rockingham the team spent the time off for the rain delay rebuilding engines and testing.

"We've learned a lot over the past few weeks," said McMillen. "We've got a brand new PSI Supercharger mounted on our new Hemi. It's just a matter of sneaking up on our tune-up now."

McMillen had a tough first round match-up with Terry Munroe who had held the points lead up to the Skull Shine Nationals in Tulsa. "There are no easy outs in Funny Car," McMillen added. "With Mark Thomas and Ron Atchison you have pair of guys that own over a decade World Championships between them. Then with Larry Dobbs, Terry Monroe, Tony Bogolo and Tim Stevens all running good this year, you've got to be swinging for the fence every time you get the chance."

The Hoosier Thunder Motorsports team will do more testing before heading to Edmonton, Alberta for the CARS RV & Marine & Motorsports Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by Torco Race Fuels at the Castrol Raceway July 6-8.

The InstiGator team partners with high quality and high performance companies like; Amalie Oil, Torco Race Fuels, eRaceFuels, Flatout Gaskets, NGK Spark Plugs, MSD, GO Graphix, eMax, Crane Cams, Freedom Grill and No Limit Custom Coach.
