Pro Top Outlaw Series Ready for London Dragway

Race to be Aired on Inside Drag Racing

After beginning the season in impressive fashion in Farmington last month, the Pro Top Outlaw Series will be back in action next weekend, May 11th and 12th, in London , Kentucky . During the opener, the competitors put up some impressive numbers before the race was eventually called due to rain.

Defending series champion Phil Esz broke the PTO MPH record with a run of 190.49 MPH and tied Adam Trauth’s ET record with an 1/8 mile pass of 3.82 seconds, setting a new track record. The competition is shaping up to be even tighter when the competitors suit up for the Bluegrass Nationals sponsored by London Flyer Buggies Unlimited.

When they hit the track in London , Inside Drag Racing will be on the property filming the Pro Top Outlaw and Pro Top Bandit competition for a mid-summer show. Dragsters, Altereds and Funny Cars will be on hand with NHRA announcer Bob Frey in the booth to call the ground shaking action beginning with the Night of Fire on Friday at 7 PM.

Qualifying will continue when the competitors receive two more qualifying shots beginning at 3 PM on Saturday. The racing action will begin at 7 PM on Saturday and continue until each class crowns an event champion.
