HOME TOWN SUPPORT FOR BARKLAGE RACING

May 3, 2007 (MADISON, ILL) – Barklage Racing, home to young Pro Mod sensations Cody and Zach Barkalge, are ready for their homecoming in 2007. The AMS Staff Leasing Pro Modified Challenge presented by Tindle Enterprises Inc rolls into St. Louis for the O’Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals, and the team is geared up to race in front of a hometown crowd.

“We’ve had some struggles this season so far, so having this race early in the year is good for us,” said Cody Barklage. “We always do well in St. Louis , and the event always gives us some much needed support. We are always excited to race in front of a hometown crowd and all of our family and friends will be there. It really helps to have the support of everyone.”

Just coming off a disappointing weekend in Atlanta , the team has taken a few days to rebuild, regroup, and reenergize.

“ Atlanta was hard,” commented Zach Barklage. “But all you can do is pick things up and move on. We know we have a good team, I know we have good cars, we just need to be back on our ‘A’ game and step things up this weekend. We’ve always done well in St. Louis including going to the final round here before. I really believe we will do well this weekend.”

The brother duo team from Lake Ozark , Missouri will receive extra hometown help for the weekend. Local drywall company, P & A Drywall will be supporting Barklage Racing. The new marketing partnership has given Barklage Racing another reason to bring home a big local win.

“We own and operate a large drywall company here in the area,” said team owner Mark Barklage. “I’ve long-time done business with P & A Drywall, and we decided to team up. I’m excited for us to represent such a great company, and hope we can go some rounds for them. I think we make a great match and I know we will represent them in the best way possible.”
