ATCO RACEWAY’S LUCAS OIL EVENT RESCHEDULED A SECOND TIME

GLENDORA, Calif. – The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Atco Raceway has been moved to October 27-29. The three-day event was originally scheduled for September 29-October 1 then rescheduled for the weekend of October 13. However, when rain forced the rescheduling of the NHRA PowerAde event in Richmond, Va., NHRA Northeast division officials had to move the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event a second time.

Ticket prices for Atco Raceway’s NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event remain the same. Gates will open at 7 a.m. each day and qualifying and time trials will start Friday at 9 a.m. and continue Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Eliminations are slated for Sunday morning.

Competitors in Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny will have two qualifying passes on Friday, at 1 and 5 p.m., and will run all three rounds of eliminations on Saturday beginning at noon.

For more information call the track, (856) 768-2167, or visit www.AtcoRace.com.
